Dr. Scarlett Chen, L.Ac., DAOM

Scarlett graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) with a Doctoral degree in integrative medicine. This degree combines conventional Western medicine with complementary and alternative therapies (CAM) to provide a holistic and patient-centered approach to healing and wellness. Her goal is to address the physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual aspects of a person's well-being.

Scarlett specializes in acupuncture, cupping, Tuina, herbal medicine, and cosmetic acupuncture. She is also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This combination is especially beneficial for individuals with both behavioral or developmental challenges and physical health concerns. RBTs are trained to work with individuals with developmental disorders, such as autism, and help address behavioral challenges and social skills. On the other hand, acupuncture sessions can help individuals manage stress, anxiety, and related physical symptoms by promoting relaxation, enhanced mood, and balance in the body's energy.

Scarlett’s personality type is Consul (ESFJ-A), often described as warm, caring, and dependable. She has a strong sense of duty and responsibility and is inclined to take on caregiving roles. Helping others brings her a sense of fulfillment and happiness.

She enjoys trying different exercises and her favorite activities include snowboarding, badminton, surfing, and snorkeling.
